THE:RISE 5 with Baund는 힙합엘이(HIPHOPLE)가 더 주목받아야 할 신인 음악가들과 함께 진행하는 음악 프로젝트이다. ‘TEAMWORK’라는 슬로건을 테마로 진행된 이번 시즌에는 향후 한국 힙합, 알앤비 씬을 이끌어갈 듀오, 팀, 크루 등 총 20팀이 프로젝트 후보로 참여하였다.
이번 앨범은 유명 프로듀서들의 비트를 제공하는 소셜 엔터테인먼트 플랫폼 Baund(바운드)의 독점 비트를 활용해 제작되었다. 최종 선정된 5팀이 사용한 비트는 Baund 앱에서 누구나 무료로 사용가능하며, 비트를 활용하여 다채로운 음악과 영상 콘텐츠를 쉽게 만들고 즐길 수 있다.
